Photography is not simply a matter of pointing and clicking. It is about capturing life, moments, images and ideas in a way that one can cherish for as long as they live, and then pass on to future generations for their enjoyment as well.
I have had a passion for photography for as long as I can remember. Over the years, I have continued to hone my talent through reading books and taking workshops on photography, lighting, and photo editing. I am a member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals and have worked on numerous video and photo editing projects. My pictures are my art, my way to express myself. It is not a job, it is a passion.
My specialty lies in working with children. There is nothing more fulfilling for me than being able to capture a child's youthful innocence and developing personality for eternity. My experience with children goes well beyond photography: I have a Bachelors of Science degree in Human Development and Family Relations from the University of Connecticut and I have more than five years of experience in teaching preschool. I currently work as a children's library associate and am the proud mother of an teenage daughter, who has been my model since the day she was born.
What does this mean for you? You are getting a photographer passionate about her work who has experience working with all groups of people and personalities. Because I am willing to photograph at the location of your choice, children feel more comfortable than they do in a studio and that leads to better photo opportunities. I pride myself on being innovative and professional, and look forward to bringing out the best in the people that matter the most in your life.
